Andrew Burton Cox, 74 of Pearisburg, Virginia departed this life June 4, 2024 in the care of Carilion Giles Community Hospital.  Born November 28, 1949 in Delaware, he was a son of the late Norman and Vivian Ratcliff Cox.

Professionally Andrew was an Electrical Control Technician with ESSI.  He was dedicated to his work, showing a drive for innovation which seamlessly assisted others in their tasks and work functions.  He also enjoyed assembling models, which allowed him to continue his passion of building as he would piece together components thus creating works of art, which in turn reflected patience.  He also loved the imagination and found joy in provided in gaming.  An avid reader, he continued enjoying all of his interests as he would immerse himself into the stories that he would read.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are his sons, Sean Cox (Heather), and Tim Cox; daughter, Tonya Snapp; and grandchildren, Brian Kavensky, Erin Cox, and Elijah Carver.
