Angela Della Reed, 91, of Circle Drive in Pembroke departed this life Wednesday evening, January 9, 2008 at home, in the loving care of her family. Born in Mercer Co., WV on March 3, 1916 she was a daughter of the late Rev. Samuel David and Mary Bowden Wimmer. Angela was a devoted Christian and member of Olean Church of The Brethren at Goldbond, was a Senior Citizen Volunteer, and somewhat of a quilting expert. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Paul P. Reed, Sr., a son Paul P. Reed, Jr., a daughter-in-law Nancy Reed, and several brothers and sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son Gary Reed of Pembroke; a daughter Teressa Reed of Pembroke; a daughter-in-law and care giver Mary F. Reed of Pembroke; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday evening at 7:00 PM at Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead with Pastor Michael Tabor, and Pastor Rodger Boothe officiating and Pastor Shahn Wilburn and Pastor Eddie Kendall assisting. Entombment will be in Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg, Saturday at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends at Riverview Baptist Church two hours before the services Friday evening.
