Anna Claudine Lucas departed this life to be with her Heavenly Father February 11, 2021 in the care of her family and Carilion Hospice. Born June 18, 1932, in Pearisburg, VA she was a daughter of the late Claude and Ressie Hypes Fleeman.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband,Claude S Lucas,and a great grandson, Cason Lucas.

Left to cherish Claudine's memory to their hearts are sons, Gary "Mouse" Lucas (Shelby), Richard Lucas (Melissa), Barry D Lucas (Millie), and Ronnie Lucas (Jill Davis); grandchildren, Alexandria Lucas, Barry M "Chippy" Lucas, Deanna Thomas, Tabitha Booth, Crystal Lucas, Brandon Lucas, and Brian Lucas; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

There will be a Funeral Service conduced Monday, February 15, 2021 at 12:30 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke. Claudine will later be laid to rest at Angels Rest Memory Gardens. The family wishes to thank Dr. Richard Grube for all the care he gave to Claudine, and the staff of Carilion Hospice for becoming their family.
