Annie Bell Donathan, 70, of Pembroke departed this life Monday January 29, 2007 at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg. Born in Pembroke on June 20, 1936 she was a daughter of the late Kemper Cumbee and Willie Lucas Cumbee. She was preceded in death by brothers Herman and Howard and sister Lethenia. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of forty years Jerry Wayne Donathan; her son Wayne Junior Donathan of Pembroke, her daughter Shirley Ann Moore of Eggleston; a brother William Carl "Buddy" Cumbee of Pembroke; sisters Julie C. Bailey of Eggleston and Anna Lou Cumbee of Pembroke, a grandson Joshua Bernard; half brothers Bobby, David, Henry and half sister Mildred.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park at Pearisburg.
