Annie Leola "Anna Lee" Sutphin, 84, of Pearisburg, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, December 9, 2009 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born in Big Springs, Texas on December 4, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Andrew Robert and Audrey Robertson Hefner. Anna Lee was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul W. Sutphin and a son Paul Daniel "Danny" Sutphin.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children Teddy Sutphin, Delbert E. and Cathy Sutphin of Pearisburg, David L. and Norma Sutphin of Boones Mill, Joseph Charlie Sutphin of Pearisburg, John Mark Sutphin of Pearisburg, Sandra S. and Keith Holliday of Aiken, SC; her ten grandchildren , eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
