Arthur Sadler, 65, of Newport, departed this life Tuesday morning, March 23, 2010 at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg. Born in Giles County on June 21, 1944 he was a son of the late George Franklin, and Lattie Catherine Sadler. He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Catherine Sadler. He attended Frenche's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church in the Little Creek Section of Dublin.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers and sisters-in-law George and Randi Sadler of Pulaski, Roger and Violet Sadler of Pilot, Emory and Vivian Sadler of Dublin, Randy and Janet Sadler of Pearisburg, Allen and Mary Sadler of Elliston; his sisters and brothers-in-law Shirley and Earl Dillon (with whom he made his home) of Newport, Jean and Harold Lucas of Pembroke, Juanita and David Shrader of Narrows, Rhetta and Dale Harmon of Christiansburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor David Wood of Frenche's Chapel officiating.
