Audrey Shockey Martin, 61, of Viewland Circle in Christiansburg, died Thursday morning March 3, 2005 at her home. Born on January 30 1944 she was a daughter of the late William Earl Johnson and Maudia Mae Pyles Johnson. She was a former employee of Wolverine in Blacksburg.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Ethel Johnson of Pearisburg; her husband of 43 years Carl K. Martin; her children and their spouses Rocky and Sandra Martin of Troutville, Gregory and Dana Martin of Christiansburg, Kimberly and Mike Moles of Riner, Timothy and Crystal Martin of Blacksburg; her brothers Robert Johnson, James Johnson, Duck Johnson, Earl Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Butch Johnson all of Pearisburg; her sisters Cricket Lucas, Ada Lee French, Anita Simpkins, and Earthel Middleton all of Pearisburg and Mary Lee Jones of Thaxton; six granddaughters Britanny Martin, Meredith Martin, Sydney Smith, Morgan Martin, Jordan Moles, and Shyan Martin; two grandsons Josh and Mike Huff and many other relatives and special friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday March 6, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke. Entombment will follow in Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
