BARBARA WARE BASSLER DOTSON, 88, of Pearisburg, departed this life Sunday afternoon, January 13, 2017 in the care of Heritage Hall in Rich Creek. Born in Gill Massachusetts on April 13, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Robert Arthur Ware and Inez Eugenia Streeter Ware. She was employed as a Housing Manager at a school. She was preceded in death by her first husband Roy Henry Bassler.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband Charley Dotson of Pearisburg; her step-son William Roy Bassler of Spofford, NH, and her brother Malcolm Robert Ware of Ocala, FL.

Memorial services will be conducted Friday, February 3, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the services. Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
