Barbara Ellen Helton, 53, of Christiansburg, departed this life Thursday afternoon at Lewis Gale Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg. Born in Maryland on October 07, 1963 she was a daughter of Ellen Morris Dalton and the late Leonard Dalton. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister Joy Dean. Barbara was a member of the fellowship at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Christiansburg.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Ricky Helton; her mother Ellen Morris Dalton; her daughters Sireana Dalton of Glen Lyn and Sarah Dalton of Christiansburg; her six grandchildren; her brothers Andy Dalton of Radford and Jr Dalton of Montgomery Co; and her sisters Lori Troxell of Staunton, Robin Dalton of Montgomery Co; and Molly Dalton of Montgomery Co.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm in the Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Christiansburg with Pastor David Vance officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the services. Burial will follow in Angels Rest Memory Gardens at Narrows.
