Barbara Julia Runions Morris, 86, of Pearisburg, departed this life Wednesday morning, September 8, 2010 at the home of her daughter and caregiver in Lexington, VA. Born on June 6, 1924 in Pearisburg, she was a daughter of the late Jessie Andrew and Mary Davis Runions and step-daughter of the late Bessie Runions. She was retired from the Celanese Plant at Narrows and attended The Church of God of Prophecy in Pearisburg.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law Danny and Lou Ann Morris of Pearisburg; her daughters and sons-in-law Norma and Lee White of Blountville, TN and Gaynell and Darrell Ratcliffe of Lexington, VA; her sister Ruth Viars of Elkton, MD; her eight grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren; and her one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday and 1:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St, Pembroke with Pastor Bill Brown and Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will follow in Angels Rest Memory Gardens at Narrows. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
