Bertha Cline Snider, 89 of Ripplemead, VA departed this life April 23, 2022 in the care of Lewis Gale Medical Center.  Born in Giles County, Virginia on May 11, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Georgia Hinchee Bailey.

In addition to her parents, Bertha is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Burton Snider; son Rex Snider; daughter, Wanda Snider; grandson, Blake Hammons; and brothers, Kenneth Hinchee, Bill Bailey, Jack Bailey, and Fred Bailey.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her sons, Sam Snider Jr. (Janice) of Pulaski, and Johnny Snider (Tammy) Ripplemead; daughter, Janet Kessinger of Ripplemead, VA; daughter-in-law, Marla Snider of Staffordsville, VA; grandchildren, Jonathan Snider, Crystal Snider, Billy Myers, Johnny Myers, Kayla Kessinger, Regina Harless, and Wanda Reed; a great-grandchild, Riley Reed; brother, Frank Bailey Jr of Ripplemead; and a sister, Stella Snider of Ripplemead.

There will be a graveside service conducted on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Birchlawn Burial Park with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating.  A guestbook is available by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com .  The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Snider family.
