Billy Ray Booth, 69, ot the Clendennin Community near Narrows departed this life Monday morning September 24, 2007 at Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg. Born in Giles County on September 3, 1938 he was a son of the late Everett James and Anna Mae Lambert Booth. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Robert, Frankie, Beauford, and Charles Booth.

He leaves to cherish his memory a sister and brother-in-law with whom he made his home Darlene and Bill Tate of Narrows; a brother James Earl Booth of Pearisburg; a special sister-in-law Virginia Tate Booth of Peterstown; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM in The Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following in the McClaugherty Cemetery at Clendennin.
