Billy Joe "BJ" Havens, 31, of Pearisburg departed this life Friday, January 6, 2012, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA while undergoing heart surgery. Born on July 22, 1980, he was a son of Gene and Sherri Martin Havens of Curve Road in Pearisburg. He also leaves to cherish his memory his daughters Katie Havens of Narrows and Hannah Havens of Tazewell; his brother Michael Martin of Pearisburg; his grandparents Robert and Peggy Havens of Pearisburg and Billy and Mary Kessinger of Salem.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 am in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 5 until 7 pm. Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
