Billy Stephen Kerr, 48, of Link Circle at Pembroke died Saturday afternoon January 28, 2006 at his home. Born on June 7, 1957 at Pearisburg he was a son of Billy J. Kerr and the late Betty Dye Kerr. He was a 1976 graduate of Giles High School and had been employed at the Celanese Celco Plant and at Wolverine. He was preceded in death by his mother and a step-brother Michael Hazelwood.

He is survived by his father and step-mother Billy J. and Vernie B. Kerr of Lindside, WV; a brother and sister-in-law David and Darla Kerr of Radford; a sister and brother-in-law Kathy and Barry Carter of Pembroke; a step brother Gordy Hazelwood of Lindside, WV; and a step-sister Marsha Barnett of Statesville, NC; several nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with burial following in Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery at Hoges Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
