Bonnie Louise Broadwell "Beanie", 72, of Pembroke, departed this life Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in the care of Heritage Hall in Rich Creek. Born in Newport on September 13, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Hugh "Bill" and Virginia Dowdy Broadwell. A graduate of Giles High School she had been employed at Electro Tec. Magic Mart, RAAP, and several other places.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son Scott M Meredith and his girlfriend Ladena Curry of Pembroke; her brothers and sisters-in-law Joe and Irene Broadwell of Pembroke and Billy Hugh Broadwell and Debbie Cumbee of Pembroke.(A special thanks to Irene Broadwell for all the help "we couldn't have done it without you")

Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00am in the Newport Cemetery at Newport. Friends may call at the funeral home before the services.
