Brenda Kay Lang, age 62, of 508 Tyler Avenue Pearisburg, Virginia departed this life Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born on January 5, 1955 she was the daughter of Jack and Gertrude Blankenship of Narrows.

In addition she was proceeded in death by her oldest sister Gloria Blankenship.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Lang of Pearisburg and her three sons, Christopher M. Lang and wife Cindy Lang of Pearisburg, Jeremy Lang of Pearisburg and Thomas Lang and wife Krystal Lang of Pearisburg. Her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Kaiyah and Kenna Lang, Cooper and Bella Lang and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Perry and Lola Blankenship and family of Narrows, Charles and Dreama Blankenship and family of Narrows, Theresa and Allen Riddle and family of Narrows, Lisa Robertson of Kingsport, Tennessee, Jeff and Karen Blankenship and family of Narrows, Rhonda Sanders of Narrows.

She also leaves to cherish great memories with her wonderful neighbors Susan and Darrell Haymore, Diane Bradley and Sherri Johnson. Kay was the life of the party where ever she went and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
