Brenda Sue Williams Heckman, 71, of Rich Creek, VA, departed this life Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born in Giles County on February 19, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Paul and Lida Helen Neice Williams of Goldbond. She had been employed as manager for Hillside Apartments, in QC at Electro Telc and as a supervisor at Avtex Corp. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Leroy Williams and her sisters Louise Miller and Betty Jo Price.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 28 years Morris Rabon Heckman; her son and daughter-in-law Tiger and Sherry Williams of Pearisburg; her step-son and his wife Trinity and Jessica Heckman of Elliston; her grandsons Hunter Williams and Trevor Williams; her step-grandson Zander Heckman; her sister and brother-in-law Claire and Franklin McCroskey of Staunton; her brothers and sisters-in-law Benny and Kathy Williams of Pembroke and Alvin and Patsy Williams of Blacksburg.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday, May 6, 2019, at 11:00 am in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the cemetery thirty minutes before the services.
