Buddy Joe Williams, 72, of Pembroke, departed this life Wednesday evening, September 18, 2019 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA after a long illness. Born in Pembroke, VA he was a son of the late Frank and Ruby Hilton Williams. He will be missed by the entire town of Pembroke.

In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by brothers Arnold and David Williams, and a sister Nola Butler. He leaves to cherish his memory, a brother John Lewis Williams (Edith)of Pembroke, a sister Ella Sue Perkins (Edward) of Pearisburg, a sister-in-law Shirley Thompson Williams of Christiansburg, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a funeral service, Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home chapel in Pembroke Virginia followed by a graveside service at the Fillinger Cemetery in Pembroke.
