Cecil Waring King, 85, of Eggleston departed this life at his home Wednesday, November 21, 2012 after a long illness. Born in Henrico Co, VA on January 3, 1927 he was a son of the late Emmett Carlton and Mary Duvall King. He was a veteran of the U S Army Air Corps and worked as a civil engineer after his service time.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Virginia Vincent King; his sons Cecil Waring King, Jr. of Richmond, Louis Carlton King of Richmond and Scott Duvall King of Eggleston; his daughter Jan Vincent Almond of Christiansburg.
