Cecil Warring King Jr of Eggleston and Richmond, VA unexpectedly went to be with the Lord October 22, 2020 at his home in Eggleston, VA. Born February 12, 1954, he was a son of the late Cecil King Sr. and Virginia Vincent King of Charles City, VA.
Warring will be remembered for his giving and servant's heart for which he and Cathy spent a large portion of their lives helping to build churches in South America and the Wayward Islands, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, hosting missionaries in their home, and as of late, alongside his brother Scott, helping to care for his late father-in-law, and a food Pantry distribution participant.
Warring was a designer, draftsman, an ethanol pioneer, home contractor, builder of all sorts of apparatus', a master of his hands and a can do person. He attended Mechanicsville Christian Church and through that connection built many church buildings. Warring inspired us, set an example for us all, gave us all the spirit of accomplishment and a can do type of attitude as an overcomer of this world. He was a blessing as our brother.
He is preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life, Catherine Varner King.
Left to cherish and honor his memory are his brothers, Louis King (Teresa) of New Kent, and Scott King of Eggleston; and a sister, Jan (Lynn) Almond of Blacksburg, VA. He also leaves behind one niece and three nephews who all looked up to him and will remember his contagious laugh and fix or build anything personality.
There will be a private memorial service held at a later date. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com. The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the King family.
