Charles Edmond Harrison "Chuck:", 89, of Pearisburg died Sunday March 20, 2005 at the home of his beloved caregiver Brinda DeLong Cruise at Newport. Born in Scottdale, PA on March 21, 1915 he was a son of the late James Bernard and Estella Trout Harrison. He was a veteran of the U S Army in WW II and was retired from U S Steel. He was preceded in death by his wife Rachel Janney Harrison, two sisters Margaret Mullins and Naomi Harriosn and three brothers Larry Harrison, Burnard Harrison, Kelly Harrison.

Surviving are his caregiver and her family of Newport; two sisters Ruth Kelly and Kathleen O'Neal; a brother Barnny Harrison and a favorite niece Patti Daumit of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow Street in Pembroke with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. Friends will be welcome to call at the funeral home two hours before the services
