Charles Grady Mabe, 57, of Blacksburg, passed from this life Friday evening, February 26, 2010 at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg. Born in Pearisburg on June 17, 1952 he was a son of the late Carl and Ollie Poston Mabe. He was a graduate of Giles High School and had been employed with English Construction Co. and at Virginia Tech. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Carl M. Mabe and Allen L. Mabe.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Kimberly Guynn Mabe; his daughter Tina Cumbee of Pembroke and her children Katlyn Smith and Makenzie Woolwine; his step son and wife Patrick and Robin Branch and son Nicholas Branch of Beckley, WV; his step-daughter Jessica Branch of Shawsville; his sisters Rhoda M. Hutchison of Newport and Shirley M. Hale of Pembroke.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in the Fillinger Cemetery at Pembroke.
