Charles Lee Mitchem, 71 of Narrows, VA departed this life Friday, June 4, 2021 under the care of Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital.  Born January 19, 1950, he was a son of the late James and Sadie Stevers Mitchem.

Charles enjoyed his life of hunting and fishing.

He preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, James and David Mitchem.

Left to cherish his memory are his fiancée, Carol Sinsky of Narrows; a brother, Bobby Ray Mitchem; sisters, Betty Jean Ratcliffe of Christiansburg, and Shirley Mitchem Green of Pearisburg; a special daughter, Amanda Whitlow and fiancée, Todd Clark; and special grandchildren, Belle and Johnny Whitlow.
