Cheryl Lynn Duncan, 65 of Ripplemead, Virginia departed this life July 4, 2023 in the care of the University of Virginia Medical Center.  Born in Louisiana on May 12, 1958 she was a daughter of the late Harry and Lotus Hillman Duncan.

While Cheryl was proud of her years of service with Allen's Furniture, she was most proud of the time she gave to her father and most recently her sister in the role she engaged in fully as caregiver.  She also most enjoyed the special times she was able to spend with her nieces and nephews.  In the Fall she could be found wearing Orange as she cheered for the University of Tennessee Volunteers to bring home the victory in the football games.  Another pastime that she loved was that of travel, most especially to the beach.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl is preceded in death by her sister, Pamela Stafford.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Robert Duncan of Tennessee; sister, Deborah Douglas of Knoxville, Tennessee; and brother-in-law, John Stafford of Ripplemead, Virginia.

There will be a funeral service conducted for Cheryl on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jay Smith officiating.  Funeral services will conclude at Birchlawn Burial Park.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  A guestbook is available to send condolences by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com.  The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Duncan Family.
