Christine Whittaker St Clair, 83, of Hobbs Lane, Pearisburg, departed this life Friday evening, December 11, 2015 at Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg. She was born in Pearisburg on September 10, 1932, when she was able attended The Church of God of Prophecy in Pearisburg, and was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles G. Whittaker Sr. and Hattie Riggs Whittaker, her husband Alvin L. St Clair, her brother Charles G. Whittaker, Jr. and sisters Evelyn St Clair and Myrtle Rosalee Whittaker.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children Jerry St. Clair and his wife Daisy of Pearisburg, Donald St Clair and his wife Patricia of Pearisburg, David W. St Clair of Pearisburg, Linda Dressler of Peterstown, WV, and Mary McGuire and her husband Dennis of Glen Lyn; and her grandchildren, Alvin McGuire, Ryan McGuire, Krissy McGuire, Stacey St Clair, James St Clair, Daisy St. Clair and Angela St Clair, her great-grandchildren Jacob Teske, Anel Kelly, and Zaharra Ahmed; and her step-son Roger St Clair of Pearisburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 7:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor Bill Brown of the Pearisburg Church of God of Prophecy officiating.
