Connie Jean Neice, 54, of Fairlawn, and formerly of Pembroke, departed this life Sunday morning, January 19, 2014 at her home. Born in Pearisburg on August 19, 1959, she was a daughter of the late William Lee and Mabel Frances Lang Neice. She had been employed as a cook at Hardee's, and enjoyed fishing and the out doors.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law Christine and Kaven Pruett of Roanoke County; her grandchildren Mark and Amber Dalton; her brother and sister-in-law Allen and Brenda Neice of Dublin; her sisters Clara Ann Neice of Pembroke and Debbie Cumbee of Pembroke.

The family will receive friends at the Kendall Funeral Home, Pembroke Monday evening from four until 6 pm followed by a service of remembrance. Following the services her remains will be cremated.
