Daniel Michael Trivett, Sr., age 61, of Lane St. in the Bluff City Community of Pearisburg, departed this life Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at his home. Born in Sussex County, New Jersey on January 5, 1952, he was a son of the late William James Sr. and Catherine Augustus Trivett. He had been employed at general labor in manufacturing. He marched to his own drum and lived life the way he wanted to. His heart was a big as he was and children adored him. He loved the best way he knew how and always shared what little he had.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son Daniel Michael Trivett, Jr. of Susquehanna Co., PA; his daughters Melissa Trivett of Pearisburg and Shannon Trivett of Carbondale, PA; his brothers James Trivett of Narrows and Clayton Trivett of Springfield, NJ; his sister Judy Trivett; his grandchildren Robert Lewis Hylton and Angelina "Faith" Whittaker and three others in PA; a special neice Kristen Poe of Narrows and her two sons who were his fishing buddies.

Danny had generously donated his body to medical science through the Virginia Anatomical Division. While there are no funeral services planned his memory will always be in the hearts of his family and friends. The arrangements were handled by the Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke, VA.
