DAVID ALLEN DENNIS, 60 of Commissary Hill Road at Pembroke, departed this life at his home, Friday morning, July 1, 2016. He was born on November 23, 1955 in Sherman, Texas. David enjoyed golfing as often as he could, finishing his last course the day he passed away and was a retired precision machinist for Downard Hydraulics. He attended the Pembroke Christian Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of twenty-five years, Kitty McCall Dennis; his parents Arthur Frederick and Edna Stevens Dennis of Houston, Texas; his brothers Jimmy Dennis and his wife Mindy of Houston, TX and Steve Dennis of Houston TX; his sisters Kara D Toller and husband Bob of Houston, TX and Nancy D Short and husband Kendell of Houston, Texas, his fourteen nieces and nephews Julianna Dennis, Christian Dennis, Emerson Dennis, Trey Tackett, Brandon Tackett, Kelsey and husband Kevin Gebhard, Kristyn Tackett, Lauren Dennis, Melissa Short, Preston Short and wife Carrie, Preston McCall, Brent McCall, Ethen Ramos, and Callie Miller; his mother-in-law Geraldine Smith McCall of Pembroke; his brother-in-law Wesley McCall and his wife Crystal of Pembroke; his sister-in-law Robin Miller of Pembroke.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 3, 2016, at 2:00 pm in The Pembroke Christian Church with Pastor Reggie Britts officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. A memorial service will be announced at a later date in Houston, Texas. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial gifts may be made to the Pembroke Christian Church. Arrangements are with the Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke.
