David Lee Gardner, 75 of Pembroke, VA departed this life June 20, 2022 in the care of Radford Health and Rehab. Born in Knoxville, TN on January 24, 1947, he was a son of the late John and Anna Padgett Gardner.

David was retired for VDOT as a truck driver.  He enjoyed watching football, especially when the Giles Spartans or Tennessee Volunteers were playing.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother, Junior Gardner.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are his wife, Deborah Gardner; stepchildren, Jeffery Stanley (Ashley) of Pulaski, and Frankie Stanley (Christy) of Radford;  step-grandchildren, Sara McPeak, Jacob McPeak, Danny Stanley, Daryl Stanley, Calleigh Stanley, Hunter Stanley, and Kaleigh Stanley; and mother-in-law, Anna Jean Farley.
