David Lee Lucas, 37, of Suttle Lane in Pembroke departed this life Sunday April 1, 2007 at his home. Born in Pearisburg on April 29, 1969 he was a son of the late Bertha Sexton Lucas. He was employed with Maco Tools in Blacksburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Hampton Andrew Lucas and his beloved grandmother Lura Sexton.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Cynthia Robertson Lucas; three brothers Troy Lucas of Big Stony Creek, Herman Stewart of Pembroke, "Buck" Lucas of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters Diane Niece and Patricia Lucas both of Narrows; eight nieces and nephews.
