David Lee Martin, 36, of Pearisburg departed this life suddenly Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at his home. Born in Montgomery Co. on November 21, 1972 he is a son of Mary Whittaker Martin of Pearisburg and the late Paul Lee Martin. He is survived by his mother , his son Tarrence McKenzie Martin of Pearisburg; his brother and sister-in-law Raymond Jessie and Eva Martin of Pearisburg; his sisters and brothers-in-law Bonnie and Robert Jones of Pearisburg, Katrina and Melvin Tate of Dublin; his nieces and nephews David Wayne Martin, Robert Leland Jones, Doricha Rose Jones, Brianna Rose Martin, Cheyenne Martin, Mary Davis and Marty Tate.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday evening at 7:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 PM before the services.
