Dennis C. Atkins, 57 of Pearisburg, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Dennis was born on March 6, 1963 to the late Clyde Junior and Shirley Louise Albert Atkins.

Dennis was the owner and operator of Atkins Transmission in Pearisburg and a member of the Rich Creek First United Methodist Church.

Dennis is survived by his children, Ross M. Atkins of Pearisburg, Michael T. Atkins and Fiancée Mikayla Thomas of Madisonville, LA. and Connor J. Hopkins. His grandchildren, Aleigha Simmons and Ayden Simmons. He is also survived by his brothers, Ronnie Atkins, Ricky Atkins, Nicky Atkins and Dale Atkins.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aubrey Whitlow officiating. A burial will follow at Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 6 - 8 P.M. at Kendall Funeral Home.
