Druscilla Williams Huffman affectionately known as Dickie, 85 of Pembroke, Virginia departed this life July 10, 2025 in the care of Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery.  Born in Virginia on January 6, 1940 she was a daughter of the late Ed and Laura Wiliams.

Professionally, Dickie worked in Dining Service at Virginia Tech, often enjoying the serving and sharing with the students.  She found joy in keeping her home clean.  Shopping too gave her pleasure as she would provide gifts for her loved ones and made things beautiful in their time.  She would also find peace and reflection in doing word puzzles.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her great-grandson, Devin Hale; sisters, Bonnie Hobbs, Betty Southern (Larry), and Barbara Gray; and best friend, Sally Stafford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Huffman; a daughter, Sheila Johnston; son, Bobby Leon Huffman; grandson, Michael Jason Johnston; and siblings, Mary Meredith, Mardell Hill, Patricia Robinson, Richard Allen Williams, Thomas Williams, and Buddy Williams.

A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Birchlawn Abbey with Pastor Jordan Midkiff officiating.  A guestbook is available to send condolences to the family by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com.  The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Huffman family.
