Donald Wayne Lane, 69, of Cascade Drive, Pembroke, departed this life Saturday morning, December 22, 2018 in the care of Heritage Hall Blacksburg and his family. Born in Pulaski on October 10, 1949, he was a son of the late Luther Samual and Eleanor Marie Smith Lane. Donald was a carpenter by trade. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Wanda Moore Wilburn Lane, and his siblings Junior Lane, Ruth Tilson, Bobbie Joe Weeks and Gene Weeks.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters Barbara Carter and her husband Johnny of Pembroke and Dreama Rhodes of Christiansburg; his grandchildren Lori, Cody (wife Marianna) and Santanna; his sister Lottie Lovern and brother Jessie Lane and his wife Alice.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 12:00 noon in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg with Pastors Johnny Carter and Eddie Kendall officiating. The family will receive friends at Birchlawn Abbey one hour before the services. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is in charge of the services.
