Donald Clay Sadler, 78, of Virginia Heights Road, Pearisburg, departed this life Saturday morning, June 16, 2012 at Pulaski Health and Rehab Center in Pulaski. Born in Giles County on May 5, 1934, he was a son of the late Sarah Virginia Sadler Farewell and step-son of the late Harry Farewell. For over thirty-eight years he was employed at various jobs with the Giles County School Board retiring from the position of School Bus Garage Supervisor.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brother and sister-in-law Marvin and Barbara Farewell of Christiansburg; his nieces Beth Heslep, Kim Farewell, and Dee Dee Ginger; his very special friends Linda Myers, Aaron Myers, and Anthony Myers; and a devoted cousin Debbie Anderson.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 am at the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
