Donna Renee Nipper Hayes, 61 of Pembroke, VA departed this life January 8, 2024 in the care of Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Born in Florida on March 3, 1962 she was a daughter of the late Don and Susie Shultz Nipper.

Donna served as a waitress until her illness in Friends and Family Restaurant.  She also enjoyed the outdoors, particularly when she could go camping.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her partner, David Burleson of 40 years; son Matthew Hayes (April); grandchildren, Nathan Hayes, and Terrance Thompson; and best friend, Sonia Hodge.
