Donnie Wayne Shrader, 63, of Rich Creek, VA departed this life Wednesday morning, August 30, 2017 in the care of Heritage Hall Rich Creek. He was born in Bluefield, WV on September 12, 1953 a son of Mary Ann Dunford Burton and the late Guy Shrader. He had been a truck driver for all of his adult life, working for the last several years for the Giles County PSA. Donnie was a proud graduate of Narrows High School, Green Waves.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother and step-father Mary Ann Dunford Burton and William Burton of Narrows; his wife Lucy Shrader of Newport; his brother Dale Shrader of Narrows and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow Street, Pembroke with burial following in the Shrader Cemetery on Wolf Creek at Narrows.
