Donnie Lee Stewart, 74, of Eggleston Road, Pembroke, VA, departed this life Monday evening, February 18, 2019 at Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg. Born on April 9, 1944 in Sunright, TN, he was a son of the late Jess and Delia Davidson Stewart. Don was a proud trucker and veteran of the U S Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Linda K.Stewart, his son Garland James Stewart, his brother Sam and his sisters Sally and Janelle.

He leaves to cherish his memory his dear wife Martha S Stewart; his sons Donald Lee Stewart, Jr of Pembroke, Jimmy Hicks of Pembroke, and Mike Hicks of Peterstown; his daughters Drema Stewart of Pembroke, Deborah Stewart of Pearisburg, and Cynthia Smith of Riner; his sisters Vivian Manness of TN, Bonnie Stewart of TN and "Coolie" Stewart of TN; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were proud to call him "PaPa Don".
