Doris Katherine Robinette, 86, of Eggleston Road at Pembroke, died Tuesday afternoon March 21, 2006 at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg. Born in Giles County on May 30, 1919 she was a daughter of the late William and Mamie Edna Williams Kellner. She is survived by two sons Robert "Bob" Robinette and William Carl Robinette of the home, a brother William C. Kellner of Carmel, CA and her former husband J. M. Robinette of Roanoke. At her request her funeral services will be private. The family requests that flowers be omitted and contributions be made to a favorite charity in her name. The Kendall Funeral Home in Pembroke is caring for her arrangements.
