Douglas Wayne Holdren, 59 of Narrows, VA departed this life Friday, November 18, 2022 in the care of Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  Born in Giles County on September 14, 1963, he was a son of the late Clara Holdren.

Doug was meticulous in all of his dealings in life whether he was detailing a car or repairing small engines.  In life, Douglas also enjoyed the time he would feel the wind at his back while he was driving his Harley Davidson.

In addition to his parents, Douglas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Liota Shepherd Holdren.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are his special friends, Richard and Kathy Waldron; and caregivers, Bonnie Shrader, and Vicky Fletcher.

There will be a graveside service conducted to cherish memories of Doug's life on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 12:30 PM in Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating.  The family and special friends will receive love and friends on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel.  A guestbook is available to send condolences or share precious memories by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com .  The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Holdren family.
