Edna Gautier Martin, 80, of Pearisburg departed this life Monday June 4, 2007 at Pulaski Community Hospital in Pulaski. Born in Giles County on September 16, 1926 she was a daughter of the late Willie B. and Sophia Lucas Gautier. She had been a member of New Village Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands Fred Stewart and Clifton Martin; two sons Jackie Stewart and Jerry Stewart; and two brothers Garland and Dan Gautier.

She is survived by a brother William B. Gautier of Pearisburg; a special niece Dana G. Armstrong of Charleston, SC; her step-children Brenda Wade, Gergory Martin, and Allen Martin; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 AM in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at The Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke from 9:30 until 10:30 before the services. Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
