Edward Saunders Dalton "Eddie", 66, of Pearisburg and Radford, departed this life Saturday morning, July 15, 2017 at Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital in Blacksburg. He was born in Pearisburg, on December 28, 1950, a son of the late Matthew Jack and Bertie St Clair Dalton. Eddie had been employed in the contract roofing business. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Matthew (Jackie) Dalton.

Surviving him are his daughter Sharon Lynn Dalton and fiancé Birton Hawkins of Stewartstown, PA; his ; his grandson Brian Becker Jr; his sister and brother-in-law Frances and Charles Collins; his brothers William (Buster) Dalton, Leroy Dalton, and Kenny Dalton; special aunt Helen Pyles; special uncle Bud Evans; and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins all like immediate family to him.
