Emma Jane Blankenship, 69, of Pearisburg departed this life Wednesday, August 18, 2010 peacefully at her home. Born in Giles County on August 17, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Lillian Janney and Manuel Garcia.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son William L. "Bill" Blankenship of the home; her daughter Debra J.Lang of Pearisburg; her grandchildren Jared Brian Lang and Jordan Nichole Lang; her brother Milton Riggs of Sandy, Utah.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the services.Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
