Emma Leuna Clatterbuck, 97, of Pembroke, departed this life Sunday morning, January 30, 2011 at Lynchburg General Hospital in Lynchburg, VA. Born in Paint Bank, VA on July 30, 1913 she was a daughter of the late Harry Lewis and Madge Beatrice Smith Baker. She was a member of the Pembroke Christian Church and a much beloved mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Nelson Elwood Clatterbuck, her son Harry E. Clatterbuck, and her brothers Lester Baker and L.T. Lafon.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters and sons-in-law Bonnie and Paul Drinkard of Lynchburg and Yvonne C. and Bob Warren of Salem; her six grandchildren, her eight great-grandchildren, and her daughter-in-law Barbara Clatterbuck of Slidell, LA.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour before the services. Online condolences may be sent by visiting kendallfuneralhome.com.
