Eric Allen Carter, 39, of Witt Road, Pearisburg, VA, departed this life Wednesday morning, October 3, 2018 at Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg. He was born in Montgomery County on October 27, 1978, Eric was a 1999 graduate of Giles High School, a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Rpplemead, was a loving and caring person who never met a stranger, thought of everybody as his friend and enjoyed camping his dog Teddy and his cat Snowflake.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents Jimmie and Crystal Early Carter of Pearisburg; his very, very, special step-grandfather Robert Pennington of Pearisburg; his great-aunt Janet Psathas; great uncle Jack Stanwitz and wife Pat; uncle Mark Hale and wife Peggy; step sister Brittany Early and son Draco Custer; aunt Linda Smith and cousin Christie Kirk.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday October 06, 2018 at 11:00 am. In the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the funeral.
