Frances Lee Neice, 74, of Opal St. in Pearisburg, departed this life Monday evening, March 31, 2008 at Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg. Born on Spruce Run in Giles County on March 2, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Peyton Edmond and Grace Lee Rogers McPeak. She was a devoted Christian and a member of New Village Pentecostal Holiness Church at Staffordsville. Her sisters Lillie Harless, Bonnie Whittaker, Hallie Fain, and Hazel Thornhill preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband James Albert "Joe" Neice; her daughter Cheryl Lynn Neice Dancy of Abingdon; her son James Edward Neice of Pearisburg; her sister Judy Caldwell of Rich Creek; and her grandchildren Jamie Neice, Gail Brehn, Dennis Pyles, Jay Morris.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday April 3, 2008 at New Village Pentecostal Holiness Church in Staffordsville with Pastor Terry Mays officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
