Frances Snider, 79 of Rich Creek, VA and formerly of Pembroke, VA departed this life in the care of Lewis Gale-Salem on March 5, 2022.  Born in Giles County on May 9, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Lang Whittaker.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Snider; brothers, Robert Whittaker and Junior Whittaker; and sisters, Mary Whittaker Martin, Shirley Ratcliffe, and Betty Howard.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her step-son, Jesse Martin; brothers, Truman Whittaker, and Roger Whittaker; a sister, Marie Williams; and a step granddaughter, Brianna Martin.
