Fred Lynwood "Woody" Carbaugh, 76, of Eggleston, departed this life Sunday morning, March 8, 2015 in the care of Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg and the love of his family. Born in Eggleston on April 7, 1938, he was a son of the late Fred William and Pauline Vaught Carbaugh. Woodie was retired from the Celanese Plant at Narrows with 42 yrs. Service. He was preceded in death by several brothers and a sister.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 51 yrs.Patricia Gusler Carbaugh; his sons Tony Carbaugh and girlfriend Cindy Doak of Eggleston and Todd Carbaugh of Pembroke; his brother Leon and wife Sharon Carbaugh of Blacksburg; and a grandson Tanner Carbaugh of Radford.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke with burial to follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
