Freddie Vernon (Ricky) Caldwell originally from Narrows, Virginia passed away June 24th, 2017 where he was living at Newport, VA in Giles County.

Ricky was born March 12, 1955 to the late Aubrey & Mary Gray Blankenship Caldwell. Beside his mother and father, he is preceded in death by a sister Reginia Kay Brown, his grandparents Frank M and Mable Blankenship, who raised him from the age of three. He was also loved and cared for by his Aunt Zelma, Uncles Donald, Ray, and Buddy Allen Blankenship whom are all deceased.

He is survived by three sons Josh Caldwell of Narrows VA, Skeeter Caldwell and Angela Wiker of Roanoke, VA and Nick Caldwell and Casey Hurd of Roanoke, VA. A sister, Betty Caldwell Ferguson and husband Robert of Charles Town WV. Ricky had 6 grandchildren Courtland, Parker, and Emma Caldwell all of Narrows, and Colson, Kaylani, and Kirra Caldwell all of Roanoke VA. , two nephews, John and Adam Hopkins and one Aunt Patty Blankenship of Narrows, VA . He had many cousins and friends, especially Chris.

At Ricky's request he was cremated, a memorial service will be held July 9, 2017 at 2pm at the Church of God of Prophecy in Narrows, VA with Pastor Jim Hagy officiating.
