In loving memory of a dear friend, colleague, fisherman, Dad, brother, and so much more; a life well lived; Mr. Fredrick Eugene Wint departed this life October 31, 2022 to enter into eternity with his Heavenly Father.  Born March 29, 1942 in Georgia Fredrick was a son of the late Hillary Herman Wint and Mildred Elizabeth Brown Wint.

Mr. Wint was a self-employed contractor who is noted to have a personality which was easy to get along with an added dose of humor to help all grow fond of the life he was given.  Fredrick had a deep faith having grown in the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed fishing, and playing dominos or poker with friends and family.

In addition to his parents, Fredrick is preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Cauley; and brothers, Hillary Herman Wint, Jr, Billie Lee Wint, Robert James Wint, Henry Author Wint, Edward Labron Wint, and Johnny Albert Fairbanks Jr.

Left to cherish his memory to their hearts are a son, Fredrick Wint Jr (Krista) of Pearisburg, VA; daughters, Katherine Denise Mitchell of Florida and Tamberly Pardee of Pearisburg; a grandson, Joshua Allyn Mitchell (Heather); and great-grandson, Waylon Mitchell; brother, David Wint of Oklahoma City; sisters, Sue Johnson (Terry) of Lafayette, Georgia, Patricia Smith (Johnny) of Lafayette, Georgia, and Bonnie Jackson of Calhoun, Georgia; and the mother of his children, Katherine Riddle (Roger).

There will be a Memorial Service held to honor the life Fredrick gave to those who loved him on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating.  The family will receive friends at Kendall Funeral Home on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  A guestbook is available to send condolences by visiting www.kendallfuneralhome.com .  The staff of Kendall Funeral Home are honored to serve the Wint Family.
